5/18/20 Knightly News Broadcast: Stay-at-home Edition
May 18, 2020
KNTV’s final broadcast of the 2019-2020 school year spends a bit of time looking back on the life of NFL Coach Don Shula (with Griffin), the beginning of a story on the now-closed Chrysler plant in Fenton (with Judah), and the most recent sporting events in “Sports Blast” (with Carson and Eliott).
Mainly, though, today’s broadcast looks forward. In a school year notably marked by the closing of schools on a local and international level in order to slow coronavirus spread, KNTV reporters look to the future. Tyler introduces a website story on the future of sports. Mia presents an appearance by Dr. Havener to prepare students and families for this week’s yearbook/locker belongings pickup. Julia gives tips on how to handle stress in today’s anxiety-producing environment and beyond. Finally, Elsy reports the latest speculation about what school may look like in the Fall as students and staff are wondering if they will be able to return to in-person classes.
Thank you for watching today and all year, The Knightly News Crew wishes you a wonderful and healthy summer!
