Nipher’s knight became part of a chessboard float as students participated in September’s Greentree Festival and parade.

Each year, Nipher students help pomp a float that is designed to represent Kirkwood’s Greentree theme. This year’s theme was “Let the Board Games Begin,” and schools across the district got creative with game-themed floats such as chess, Operation, Jenga, Jumanji, Scrabble, and Yahtzee. Nipher was awarded honorable mention for their efforts.
